Installation in an independent heating system

In this type of installation, the Netatmo Thermostat controls the boiler or heat pump.
The Smart Valves and Thermostat are radio connected to the Thermostat Relay.
The Netatmo Relay connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi and can be controlled remotely via the App.
NOTE: with a Smarther with Netatmo connected thermostat, a relay is not required.

If there are several radiators in a room, should they all be fitted with Smart Thermostatic Valves?

The Smart Thermostatic Valve regulates the flow of hot water circulating in the radiator on which it is installed. If your customer has several radiators in the same room, fit them all with Smart Thermostatic Valves, so that they can synchronise to ensure an even temperature.

Is it possible to leave manual valves in the system?

If your system also includes manual valves, they can be kept or replaced with Smart Thermostatic Valves.

Can a thermostat from other brands be used with Netatmo Smart Thermostatic Valves?

No, because thermostats of other brands interfere with the setting up of additional Smart Thermostatic Valves.

How many additional Smart Thermostatic Valves can be added to the thermostat or Basic Central Heating Kit?

When using a new Netatmo Thermostat or Basic Central Heating Kit, it is possible to add up to 20 Smart Thermostatic Valves in up to 10 rooms.
